Hyundai How to Access SRS Codes On some older Hyundai SRS systems the SRS codes can be accessed by jumping PINs # 2-SRS and 12-ground. Use a test light as the jumper wire if in doubt. WARNING! Jumping these 2 wires may short out the SRS module on some model year. On the rest of the systems a scanner is needed to access codes. Do not jump OBD 2 pins. For the most part an aftermarket scan tool can access most Hyundai SRS codes. Connect the scanner and follow procedures. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ KIA All Models How to Access SRS Codes KIA Motors Accessing Diagnostic Trouble Codes without a scan tool To access and read SRS DTCs, proceed as follows: 1.
